John McCain on the education

John McCain supports better education. This is from his website.

John McCain believes American education must be worthy of the promise we make to our children and ourselves. He understands that we are a nation committed to equal opportunity, and there is no equal opportunity without equal access to excellent education.

He wants to give parents choice in schools so their children can go to a good school. He also wants to reward good schools and penalize bad schools. He wants to give schools the chance to educate their students the best way possible and give them the money to do that.

He wants to have the same standards for every student at every school instead of some high standards for some kids and low ones for other kids. Because that way isn't fair to the kids at all.

Pork Bills

John McCain votes against lots of bad things. One thing he wants to vote against is a pork bill. A pork bill benefits only a little bit of people but everyone has to pay for it. It started in 1817 when the bonus bill was made to build a highway linking the East and South of the United States to its Western frontier. And they still do it. The congress recently spent $2 million to put sand on the beach at Topsail Beach. Another time they spent $50,000 for the sesquicentennial celebration in Morehead City.

When McCain is president we will no longer have to worry about pork bills. Personally I think pork bills are wrong and therefore should be banned. I bet McCain feels the same way.

I just read this about John McCain.

It says the he might have picked a Vice President.

McCain kicked off his day with a tour of a General Electric Co. plant, followed by a town hall meeting with workers.

A GE employee asked McCain what his plans would be for his first 90 days in office.

"Call Tom Ridge to Washington from whatever vacation he is taking and get him to work," McCain answered, to much applause.

So I don't know if it is for sure, but maybe he picked him. It sounds kind of like that. I will have to go read about him for a little bit now. Oh and I'm going to do another video about John McCain!!!!

It's good that he was in a war a long time ago because we are in a war now and we need someone who knows something about it. I feel bad that he was held up over there but I think that makes him care more about the soldiers we have in Iraq now cause he doesn't want anyone to have to go through that like he did.

I don't think Obama was in a war ever. I looked for something that said he was but I gave up cause I just found other stuff. But I think that if he had been, he'd probably do a commerical about it or something. I haven't seen any and I watch a lot of commericals . I don't think he was even a soldier either. That's not good. The best thing is serving your country, and he probably didn't do it. So he shouldn't get to be President now. John McCain loved the USA so much he was a soldier. Obama didn't. Maybe he loves the country now, but he's still not a soldier. Maybe he should go be a soldier and then try later to be a President. But I guess he might be too old to do that now cause all the soldiers are sort of younger than Obama and he might not be able to run as fast as they do. That wouldn't be good. So maybe he should just do something else. But not be President. Cause I want John McCain to be President.


And I like this video too. It is about how Obama doesn't support things that are good for jobs and how he tries to raise taxes and how it all hurts families because the economy isn't good when you do that. John McCain loves families and kids and so he tries to do things that will help all families. I think he has like four kids. That's more than Obama. So he must like kids more too.

Vote for John McCain

I want John McCain to be the president and some of the reasons I think you should vote for John McCain are:

Because John McCain works for the people of the USA, and not for himself. He will help save tax payer money by voting earmarked pork bills that come across his desk! That other guy has voted to approve so much pork spending, it comes up to like one million dollars for every day he's been in office!!

He wants to stop all the corruption in Congress. Like when he was in Ohio, he said that he wanted to stop Congress from taking 5 week vacations in the middle of an energy crisis.

He wants to restore the economy and start offshore drilling for oil NOW!

He wants to stop sending 7 billion dollars to countries that HATE us, especially when some of that money could be going to terrorist organizations!!!

He wants to put the country first.

He has more experience than that other guy Obama.

These are just some of the reasons that I think John McCain would make a great President. I'll be putting more stuff up on why you should be supporting him!!
